GeoPower MTI448 thermal camera for mobile devices

GeoPower MTI448 is a small sensor that connects to a mobile phone via a USB-C connector. The sensor turns your Android mobile phone or tablet into an efficient thermal camera that speeds up your work. The sensor can be used to significantly speed up and enhance investigations, whether it is electrical, HVAC or other types of building condition investigations. It is possible to locate heat leaks or moisture damage in properties more easily. Temperature differences can also be used to potentially locate electrical faults in various components and devices. Faults in heat ducts and pipelines and heat leaks can be located directly by imaging. Occupational safety increases when measurements can be performed safely without close contact. High-altitude objects can potentially be examined without the need to get directly into their vicinity.

The sensor is powered directly from the mobile phone, so it does not need to be charged separately. The temperature sensor's IR resolution of 259x192 and a wide measurement range of -15…+600C with good temperature sensitivity provide accurate measurement results. The easy-to-use GeoPower Finnish or Swedish application, which can be installed on the Android operating system, can be used to photograph and measure in many different ways. There are also numerous other language options. Different color maps help to find temperature differences precisely. Color maps are available in gray to several color options. Areas can be selected from the image, or measurement points can be added according to your own choice, which allows the differences between certain measurement points to be measured. If necessary, the measurement can be narrowed down to between specified temperature values. Objects can be recorded either as a video, or photographs can be taken. If necessary, additional information about the fault or other information about the object being measured can be written on the images. These can be easily sent to the customer or office directly, even from a mobile phone.
