The ergonomic design provides 100% unobstructed access to the inside of the spill barrier, allowing for ample floor space for vehicle tires, foot traffic and cleaning. The patented Rigid-Lock wall support system protects users from trips and falls when walking on the outer edge of the mat. Built-in stainless steel support structures hold the walls in a 305 mm high, 90 degree vertical position. The Rigid-Lock QuickBerm® allows for immediate and safe deployment, providing worry-free readiness for spill control.
Like QuickBerm® Plus, the standard QuickBerm® is resistant to a wide range of chemicals including fuels, oils, greases and most acids. It is durable enough for long-term use. Exceptional structural strength is achieved with the reinforced CriticalCorner™ design, which features all-round beveled electric welds at the corners, preventing bulging, opening or corner sagging during full fluid control. The walls feature a 25mm fray-free reinforcement at the top edge, which increases the strength of the walls. The supports include a black, high-strength nylon center section with an integrated hole for anchoring in windy conditions (anchors not included). When anchored and in the upright position, the support structure can withstand winds of up to 64 km/h. The walls quickly lower, allowing for easy entry and exit. The portable design folds down quickly for storage and transport.
Built-in Rigid-Lock wall support systems maximize the use of the interior of the spill mat and significantly reduce the risk of tripping near the edges. The walls of the device fold in only one direction, inward towards the spill mat. The one-piece structure folds smoothly and remains firmly in the wall. The support structures are resistant to extreme temperatures (-45 °C to 71 °C) and when folded down, they can withstand over 5,000 kg of weight per ring. In addition, the Rigid-Lock support structures can fully support the full height of the mat without bending or damage. If the wall is damaged, for example if the user drives out of the mat without the wall in the correct position, the stainless steel support structures can be replaced.
