The CS1220XD is designed to mimic the operating methods of professional metal detectors, resulting in a 3-mode operating system that enables efficient detection of a variety of targets.

GROUND/SEPARATE MODE A 2-channel system that allows you to quickly switch between the normal MAX DEPTH mode search pattern and TARGET IDENTIFICATION. This allows you to assess whether a target is worth digging or not.

The METER SEARCH MODE acts as the detector’s “eyes and ears,” which are specially tuned to provide as much information as possible about the underground target. The detector’s audio channel operates at maximum depth, while the meter’s display provides valuable information about the target’s potential value.

METER AND SOUND SEPARATE MODE provides the most comprehensive information about the target through both the audio signal and the display. The intelligent CS1220XD gives each target its own sound signal - valuable objects are indicated by a higher pitch, while less desirable objects produce a lower pitch. This helps the user focus on the right sounds that may indicate the discovery of a valuable object underfoot. The target identification feature is especially useful when working in terrain full of scrap metal, such as in fields.
