The CS1220XD is designed to emulate the operation of professional metal detectors, resulting in a 3-mode operating system that enables efficient detection of various targets.

GROUND/SEPARATE MODE A 2-channel system that allows you to quickly switch the MAX DEPTH mode between the normal search pattern and TARGET IDENTIFICATION. This enables you to assess whether the target is worth digging up or not.

METER SEPARATE SEARCH MODE functions like the detector's "eyes and ears," being especially sensitive to provide as much information as possible about the underground target. The detector's audio channel operates at maximum depth while the meter display provides valuable information about the potential value of the target.

METER AND SOUND SEPARATE MODE offers the most comprehensive information about the target through both audio signals and the display. The intelligent CS1220XD assigns a unique sound signal to each target—valuable items are indicated by a higher tone, while less desirable targets produce a lower tone. This helps the user focus on the correct sounds that may indicate the presence of a valuable object beneath their feet. The target identification feature is particularly useful when working in terrain filled with scrap metal, such as fields.
