C.Scope CXL3 Cable Locator

The C.Scope CXL3 cable locator is a rugged and affordable industry-standard locator designed to detect buried pipes and cables before excavation.

Damaging cables or pipes during excavation work can be costly and extremely dangerous. The C.Scope Cable Avoidance Tool is the ideal “pick up and go” tool that allows you to quickly and reliably locate buried pipes and cables.

The C.Scope Cable Avoidance Tool has three familiar detection modes (Power, Radio and Transmitter), each offering its own unique advantages. Many users are already familiar with these operating modes.
- Current mode: The fastest way to detect most buried electrical cables by detecting the signal generated by the electrical current itself.g
- RADIO mode: Detects reradiated radio-type signals, which are often found in metal pipes and cables, and allows you to determine their location using just a cable locator.
- Transmitter Mode: Used to detect the signal that the C.Scope SGA3 transmitter is sending into a metal pipe or cable. This mode can also be used to detect the signal of the C.Scope Sondi device for tracing non-metallic pipes.

When combined with the C.Scope SGA3 transmitter and accessories, it becomes a versatile cable and pipe locating and tracing system. The rugged construction, LCD display, removable speaker and easy-to-use finger buttons make this device an excellent tool for all users who need reliable and fast detection of buried services.

Annual recalibration of the CXL3 cable locator is necessary to ensure optimal performance.
