C.Scope CXL4 Cable Locator

The C.Scope CXL4 cable locator represents a significant advancement in cable and pipe detection. It has received new innovative features and improvements that enable it to find even difficult-to-see targets. Working methods have been developed and the effects of human error have been minimized, which improves the performance of the device.

The CXL4 offers four enhanced search modes:
- search for electrical cables with consumption,
- search for long metal objects such as pipes and cables
- search for the transmitter's 33+131kHz signal
- search scans all three other search functions at the same time. It is designed to be easy to use, reducing the need for training. The device supports dual-frequency operation with 33 kHz and 131 kHz signals, effectively improving the detection of multiple buried targets.

The device features optimized sensitivity and noise suppression to ensure efficient operation in high background noise levels. Smart features include AlarmZone™ to alert you to low-lying pipes or cables, Dynamic SwingSensor to warn you of excessive swinging, and PeakHold to help you pinpoint target locations more accurately.

In addition, the CXL4 enables data transfer via USB and offers a PC Toolkit and Relay application for free download, which facilitate graphical analysis of the recorded data.

The device does not require regular calibration as it performs an automatic daily self-test (ADST) to verify operation.
The device is equipped with a large, backlit digital display protected by a polycarbonate lens, clearly displaying all the necessary information. The speaker is removable and the double-walled construction of the device offers an IP65 protection rating against dust and water, making the device durable to use.

Data Logging: Internal capacity to store over 12 months of data (under normal use), logged once per second. Logged data includes time, date, mode, sensitivity level, received signal level, frequency, depth, self-test result and oscillation indicator.
