The C.Scope DXL3 depth measurement cable locator tool is a durable and affordable industry standard locator designed to detect buried pipes and cables before excavation work begins.

The C.Scope cable locator tool has three familiar detection modes (Power, RADIO and Transmitter) to choose from. Each mode offers its own specific benefits, and many users are already familiar with using these modes:
- Current mode is the fastest way to detect most buried electrical cables by detecting the signal generated by the electrical current itself.
- Radio mode detects retransmitted radio signals in metal pipes and cables, allowing their location to be determined using just a cable locator tool.
- Transmitter mode detects the signal emitted by the C.Scope SGA3 signal generator into a metal pipe or cable. In addition, generator mode can also be used to trace non-metallic pipes using the C.Scope probe.

Depth Measurement The DXL3 cable locator tool has a simple depth measurement button on the top of the product (for use in TRANSMITTER MODE).

When combined with the C.Scope SGA3 signal generator and accessories, the cable locator tool becomes a versatile and comprehensive package for locating and tracing pipes and cables. The durable construction, LCD meter, detachable speaker and easy-to-use fingertip controls make the C.Scope cable locator tool ideal for workers of all levels who need a reliable way to detect underground services quickly and reliably.

Calibration: The DXL3 cable locator tool requires annual calibration.
