C.Scope DXL4 Cable Locator (Depth Measurement)

The DXL4 cable locator tools from C.Scope represent a significant advancement in cable detection technology. New innovative features have been introduced and popular existing detection modes have been enhanced to enable the DXL4 cable locator tool to detect even the most difficult to find pipes and cables. Special attention has been paid to promoting better working practices and minimizing human error to maintain high tool performance.

The DXL4 cable locator tool has improved performance in all detection modes: Power, Radio, Transmitter and AllScan, while remaining easy to use, minimizing the need for training or retraining.

Depth gauge When used in conjunction with an SGA4 or SGV4 transmitter, the DXL4 measures and displays the depth of buried pipes, cables and probes at the push of a button.

The transmitters' simultaneous dual-frequency (33 kHz and 131 kHz) signal output is ideal, as it maximizes the number of underground services detected and improves detection, especially of small-diameter or poorly grounded cables.

Optimized positioning sensitivity and noise reduction enable the DXL4 to operate even in high background interference, enabling even the weakest signals to be successfully detected.

Smart new features
- AlarmZone™: Warns the user of particularly low-lying pipes or cables. The user can adjust the alarm trigger depth to suit local needs.
- Dynamic Swing Sensor: Gently alerts you if the device is shaken too much, which could reduce positioning accuracy.
- PeakHold: Helps the user locate underground services quickly and reliably.

Data logging: The DXL4 cable locator has full data logging capabilities. A year's worth of data can be stored in both the cable locator and the SGV4 signal generator.

Data can be easily transferred to a computer for analysis using a USB cable.

The free downloadable C.Scope PC Toolkit and C.Scope Relay smartphone app analyze the recorded data logs into charts and graphs that illustrate different aspects of usage and help identify potential training needs quickly.

Calibration DXL4 cable locator tools do not require regular calibration. A fully automatic daily self-test (ADST) checks and confirms the tool is operating optimally on a daily basis.

The DXL4 cable locator tools perform an automatic daily self-test (ADST). ADST checks the functionality of the locator, including the receiving antennas, every day when the device is powered up. The SGV4 signal generator also performs a comprehensive automatic daily self-test.

The result of the daily self-test is stored in the device's internal data files and can be downloaded to a computer at any time during the next 12 months.
