ViaCount 2 is an easy-to-use, versatile, and reliable tool for traffic counting. It is easy to transport and offers accuracy practically in the range of 98-100%. The radar technology has been proven to work effectively even in Finnish winter conditions.
The device can count vehicles in both directions (1+1 lane) and classify all vehicles into up to 6 different categories. Vehicle speeds are recorded along with the distance between vehicles in seconds. The driving direction and the exact time of each measurement are also saved.

Data transfer and configuration are made convenient with Bluetooth or email features, and device monitoring is easy. The email version includes a GPS tracker as standard. It also requires a SIM card with a data plan to operate. The frequency of data transmission can be selected from 1 to 30 days.
The Bluetooth version comes with the Android app ViaApp, which allows easy connection to the counter via smartphone or tablet. Data transfer via email is also simple.

Operating time with an 18 Ah battery is approximately 1-2 weeks depending on traffic volume and outdoor temperature.
