Versatile Mast System – Durable and Certified Choice

The mast system can be used flexibly, for example, as a support structure for traffic signs, information panels, monitoring devices, and other applications. The delivery includes a complete assembly consisting of a mast, base plate, and top plate.

✅ Tested and Approved Safety

• EN 12899-1: Fixed, vertical traffic signs
• EN 12767: Crash safety of structures in traffic equipment

The mast has been tested in full-scale crash tests and simulations at speeds of 35 km/h and 100 km/h (mast length 4.7 m). Simulations show that the mast performs equally well up to a length of 8.62 meters.

• Approved mast length: max. 8.62 m
• Minimum height from ground to bottom edge of the sign: 1.8 m (recommended at least 2.0 m to reduce windshield penetration risk)
• Maximum sign weight: 200 kg
• Wind loads: Must be dimensioned according to local requirements

🛡️ Safety Above All

If the sign is installed below 2.0 meters height, the windshield penetration risk must be assessed. Lower installations are possible but require a separate safety assessment.
